Holiday Shipping Deadlines
Canada: For delivery on or before December 24th, please place your order to a Canadian address by midnight on December 17th (EST). All items must be In Stock (stating 3-4 day shipping) at the time you place your order. *Remote & Rural Areas - Please add 1 to 2 days for non-urban areas and at least one week for remote addresses.
USA: Please place your order for In Stock items by midnight on December 3rd (EST) for delivery by December 24th.

When Will You Get Your Order?
Please note that delivery times vary depending on destination. Our availability & shipping messages do not indicate when items will arrive at their final destination – only when items are expected to be packed and ready to leave our warehouse.
In stock: items ship (leave the warehouse) within 3 – 4 business days of placing your order.
Backorder: items usually require 1-3 weeks to be back in stock in our warehouse before they can be shipped out.
Pre-orders: items ship on the release date. Please note that for orders that include a pre-order, the full order will ship on the date that the pre-ordered item is released.
In Canada, it usually takes 3 to 5 business days to receive your order once shipped.
In the USA, it usually takes 1 – 2 weeks.
Customs Charges (US Shipments)
We are required by law to note that the contents of US packages contain books, music, video, apparel or accessories and to state the full value of the shipment, even if the package contains a gift.
Customs charges will be levied when the package reaches your country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient of the order and will vary by country. CBCShop.ca is not responsible for these charges and cannot provide estimates as to what these charges may be. You may wish to contact your local customs office for further information.
CBCShop.ca and its shipping partners are not able to influence local delivery practices. The arrival times shown for US shipping indicate the amount of time it will take for your order to reach your recipient's local postal office. The time it takes to get your order from the local post office to your recipient's address can vary from country to country. Delivery may be delayed by customs/import duties and local postal requirements.
Track Your Order
A tracking number is automatically assigned to your order once your order has been shipped. An email is sent to you and the tracking number can be used to find the status of the delivery. Visit the MY ACCOUNT section to check your Order Status.
Items Requiring Special Handling
In the event that you require special delivery, kindly contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-955-7711 Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Items that are not immediately available will be identified accordingly on the Web site with their expected availability date.
Products with Shipping Restrictions
Due to agreements between the series producer and international distributors, some DVDs are only authorized for sale in Canada.
Products for Educational Use
Some programs are licensed for personal home use only. For educational and institutional use, click here to order from CBC Learning.
CBC Shop unconditionally guarantees its products to be free of defects.
In the unlikely event that you need to return a product due to a defect, please email customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org and our staff will gladly provide return instructions. Indicate how the purchase was paid for and if you prefer a charge credit (only to the card originally used), or an exchange. Please allow one to two billing cycles for credit card refunds to appear on your statement.
For other returns, refunds or ordered items not received, CBC Shop must be notified within 31 days of shipping. Only products in original packaging in re-saleable condition, accompanied by original sales receipt will be accepted.
Please note that a letter containing pertinent shipping information will be included with your purchase informing you of the actual shipping date and contact information.
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable unless the product is defective.
